There is an urgent need for aid to help the many refugees from Ukraine. Collection points are springing up in many communities throughout the United Kingdom. Richard & Mary Johnson have set up one in Callander, linked to people in the Stirling area who are organising transport of aid to Eastern Europe.

A list of items which are needed most has been circulated and includes:

  • blankets
  • pain-killers
  • medication for children
  • first-aid kits
  • nappies
  • wet-wipes
  • powder
  • medical gloves
  • canned food
  • sealed food
  • protein bars
  • coloured pencils and colouring books
  • torches & batteries

The collection point is at the offices of MNV Consulting (the white bungalow next to the Esso petrol station in Callander). There is room to drive off the road and safely drop off goods. Please go to the door on the right. They will be open from 9am to 12 noon and 5pm to 6pm on each weekday (Tuesday to Friday) this week. Times for the weekend and next week will be confirmed later.
